Description

This Best of the Blue selective guidebook describes the best sport routes in the Blue Mountains near Sydney. In total nearly 1,000 mainly single pitch routes are described across 19 different sport crags, around the towns of Katoomba, Blackheath and Mount Victoria.

All the routes are shown on colour photo topos along with a brief description. For each of 19 crags there is a clear location map, approach description, QR codes for the parking area, and a brief description of the style and aspect of the climbing to be found. The total number of routes across each grade range is shown plus when the crag is in the sun or shade.

The 19 different crags covered are: Sublime Point, Diamond Falls, Farside, The Egg, The Pit, Medlow Bath, Logan Brae, Shipley Upper, Centennial Glen, Porters Pass, Fort Rock, Jimmy Cliff, Boronia, Zap Crag, Bardens Lookout, Bell Crag, Bowens Creek, Dam Cliffs and The Freezer.
