This guidebook details the location of thousands of hard boulder problems that are graded at Font 6 and above.  As the “Off Piste” name suggests no circuits are covered, but the harder problems are detailed covering all the main areas of Fontainebleau, and also on many lesser known groups of boulders dotted around the forest.

All the problems are shown on detailed colour boulder maps/topos.  A table alongside this map gives the problem number, its name and grade, along with additional comments if appropriate (such as sit start).  At the start of each main section there is a detailed location map and an overall description of the area.  At the back of the guidebook there is a comprehensive alphabetical index to all the problems in the guide with the most outstanding ones highlighted in bold type.
