This walking guidebook for Gran Canaria describes 72 of the finest walks on the coast and in the mountains all over Gran Canaria.  71 of these walks and hikes around Gran Canaria will suit walkers of all abilities with walks ranging in time from an hour to just under 7 hours long, plus a 2-day walk.  This 2-day walk takes in part of the Gran Canaria Camino de Santiago long distance walk.

Gran Canaria is an extremely versatile hiking destination.  This guidebook includes many easy walks from beaches to remote villages and through pine forests.  Many of these routes follow Caminos Reales (royal paths) that stretch all across the island.  For more experienced walkers there are also many routes that follow atmospheric ridge paths and mountain paths.

All the walks are fully described and illustrated on colour maps at either 1:50,000 or 1:75:000 scale.  There is also an overview map at 1:500,000 and 129 colour inspirational photographs.  GPS data is available for each walk.
