Description

Creek Freak is the comprehensive and definitive guidebook describing all the rock climbing at Indian Creek in Utah. Indian Creek provides many striking crack lines that require a whole combination of jamming techniques such as finger-locks, hand-jams, fist-jams, chicken wings and knee-locks. Indian Creek is often described as The Mecca place to go crack climbing in the United States.

At the beginning of the guidebook there is an excellent crag map showing Indian Creek in great detail. Addition information is given regarding how to get to Indian Creek, where to stay, the type of gear required, and all the logistics of surviving there and protecting the environment. The best time to visit to climb is the spring (mid-February to mid-May) and the autumn (mid-September to mid-November).

At the beginning of each climbing area, the access is described along with a location map. All the routes shown on colour photo-topos along with a description, route length and grade. Published by Sharp End Publications in September 2018 (updated 3rd edition with almost double the amount of routes), this guidebook is in English throughout with many stunning action photographs.
