This is the comprehensive guidebook covering the rock climbing and winter climbing around the Inner Hebrides and Arran off the west coast of Scotland. The guidebook covers Arran, plus the islands of Canna, Rum, Eigg, Muck, Coll, Tiree, Mull, Iona, Colonsay, Oronsay, The Garvellachs, Islay, Cara and Jura.

The variety of climbing and scenery found on the Inner Hebrides and Arran is huge from single pitch routes including sea cliffs through to multi-pitch classics on the superb Arran hills. There are a wide variety of rock types from dolerite, granite through to gneiss, schist, quartzite, slate, conglomerate and even an little limestone. Include the previously un-published bouldering and deep water soloing (DWS) venues make this area truly diverse.

All the routes are shown on colour photo-topos complete with route descriptions and detailed access maps. Included are many colour action photos that provide great inspiration to go out and climb in this beautiful area.

The Inner Hebrides and Arran area of Scotland has a very remote feeling to it, providing a great sense of adventure to go rock climbing here. The guidebook gives extensive information on access to the islands, accommodation and local amenities.

Publish by the Scottish Mountaineering Club in February 2014, this guidebook was written by Colin Moody and Graham Little, who are two local and recognised experts to the area.
