Description

This is the definitive guidebook covering the sport climbing found at Margalef in the Sierra de Prades Mountains, in southern Catalunya. The Montsant River runs through the middle of a valley forming a narrow steep gorge, where the village of Margalef is located. On either side of this gorge there are over 1,000 routes ranging from F4 to F9a. The climbing is on conglomerate rock that is full of pockets where the routes range from impressive bulges to gently overhanging walls and slabs.

All the routes are shown on colour topos. At the start of each sector symbols indicate the style and characteristics of the climbing, approach time, and aspect of the crag. Also provided are GPS co-ordinates for the key parking areas, access information and location maps for each sector.

Published in September 2017, this guidebook is in Catalan, Spanish and English Text.

Number of pages is 280.
Size is 150mm x 210mm (A5).
