Morocco Rock is a selective guidebook covering the trad rock climbing in the Moroccan Anti-Atlas Mountains near Tafraoute.  This Anti-Atlas area of Morocco is a great winter sun rock destination from October through to April.  It provides a wide range of traditional rock climbing from single pitch roadside crags to long multi-pitch big wall routes on superb, solid quartzite rock, along with the granite boulders and outcrops around Tafraout that have a mixture of trad and sport routes.  This beautiful and rugged mountain terrain is surprisingly quick and easy to access; with many of the crags within a twenty minute walk from the road.

The guidebook is split into 9 distinct areas, which are: Sidi M’Zal, Tizi Escarpment, Ida Ougnidif, Aouguenz Road, Samazar Valley, Afantinzar Valley, Tagzene and Tanalt, Ameln Valley, and Trfraout granite.

In total the guidebook describes over 100 different crags and 1,700 routes across a wide range of grades.  All the routes are shown on clear colour photo topos complete with full route descriptions and English traditional grades. Where appropriate detail information regarding descents is also given.   At the start of each area there is a detailed location map and an overall description, plus state of the art smartphone navigation to the parking spots via satellite co-ordination.

Published in September 2020 this guidebook is in English text throughout and includes many inspiring action photographs.
