Description

This is a walking map covering Mount Giona and Mount Vardousia in Central Greece, close to Oeta National Park. The map is double sided, and shows various walking and hiking routes including part of the E4 long distance path.

Mount Vardousia has a face for all tastes, from the unvisited northern massif, to the splendid crossing of the southern ridge and the technical alpine style ascents to Plaka-Pyramida and the Korakas crest.

Mount Giona is the 5th highest mountain in Greece. It has almost everything from the imposing peak of Pyramida and the endless cliffs that stretch down to the south. Along with the demanding routes of Karagiannis and Bekos, the map offers many alternative trails, from the long Reka ravine to short hikes to Arsali cave church and the cave of Myer.

Printed on waterproof and tear-resistant paper this Mount Giona and Mount Vardousia Walking Map was published in April 2019 by Anavasi and is map number 2.31. The text and legend of this map is in English, German, French, and Greek throughout, and is compatible with GPS systems.
