This guidebook describes 30 long and short walks, plus 3 car tours, and 1 wine tour in Northern Portugal.

The guidebook includes many walks in the Peneda-Gerês National Park along with many short walks and picnic suggestions, suitable for hot days and for those with young children.

For each walk there is a detailed route description that is illustrated on map at a scale of 1:50,000. There is a separate fold-out map showing the car tour, along with town plans for Porto, Braga, Viana do Castelo, Ponte de Lima, Ponte da Barca and Arcos de Valdevez.
