This is a selective guidebook describing the very best rock climbing routes in the Slovenian Mountains. This includes both mountaineering and pure multi-pitch rock climbing routes most of which are between 350m and 850m long. The guidebook describes 2 main areas these being The Julian Alps and The Kamnik-Savinja Alps. In total 101 routes are described covering some of Slovenia’s highest mountains such as Triglav, Jalovec and Travnik.
For each of the 101 routes described there is a full route description, route length and expected duration, descent information, and detailed topos. The UIAA grading system is used throughout. This information is spread over an average of 4 pages. The guidebook covers a wide range of grades from the easy classics to the more modern harder routes.
