This is a comprehensive guidebook covering the rock climbing around Ripoll in northern Catalunya, around 100km north of Barcelona.  It covers a wide range of climbing from single pitch sport to long multi-pitch routes (up to 150m long) and also includes some trad climbing.

In total the guidebook describes 22 crags including Montgrony, the classic crag of the area, with its famous overhanging walls of tufas.  The guidebook covers 1,000’s of routes across a wide range of grades and styles.

All the routes are shown on colour topos and in a table showing the name of the route, difficulty, length, and type of protection.  For each crag there is a location map and access information.  For each sector symbols show the grade range, maximum height of the routes, orientation, and the predominant climbing style.

The guidebook includes the following 22 crags: Coll de Merolla, Agulles del pla de la Pera, Coll Roig, Montgrony, Pardinella, Gombrèn, Clot de l'Espasa, Roca Roja de Corones, Pont de la Cabreta, El Sagnari, Les Coves, Cal Barricó, El Baell, La Lleixa, Vilamanya, Cingle de la Palanca, Dent d'en Rosell, Coma de Vaca, Mirador de la Tuta, Ogassa, Coma de L'Orri and Ulldeter.
