Roc Pennavaire is the comprehensive guidebook covering all the sport climbing in Val Pennavaire, near Alto in northwest Italy. This area in the past has been referred to as Oltra Finale, as it is located around 35km further along the coast from its famous Finale Ligure neighbour.
This Roc Pennavaire guidebook details around 2,000 sport routes across 38 separate crags. Throughout the valley there is a good mixture of climbing styles from technical slabs to large overhands, providing a wide range of routes from easy F4’s to top end F9a+.
All the routes are shown colour hand drawn topos, along with the route length. For each area there is a good location map, along with clear access information, and GPS co-ordinates for the parking areas. Symbols are used to show approach time, climbing style, and the orientation of the crag.
