This is a selective guidebook describing the rock climbing found at the Grampians, Mount Buffalo and Mount Arapiles in the Australian state of Victoria. The Grampians and Mount Arapiles are approximately 300km to the west of Melbourne, which offer mainly sandstone traditional routes, though there are some sport routes as well. Mount Buffalo offers sub-alpine granite climbing approximately 200km north east of Melbourne. Here the climbing is a mixture if traditional and sport climbing with many long multi-pitch routes.

At the start of each area there is a good introduction describing the situation and character of the climbing to be found. There is a detailed access map along with a description, plus plenty of information the visiting climber requires such as accommodation and the best time of year to climb. All the routes are colour coded along with their grade and length, and are shown on colour photo topos. There is also a great grade conversion chart, between Australian, USA, French and English grades.

Published in 2011, this guidebook is in English text throughout and includes many excellent action photographs.
