This is a comprehensive guidebook describing GR11 Trail (La Senda) in the Spanish Pyrenees. This coast-to-coast route is 820km long and starts at Irun on the Atlantic coast and finishes at Cap de Creus on the Mediterranean coast.

The guidebook breaks the GR11 route down into 47 stages and provides a comprehensive route description and detailed maps for each stage. Also included are numerous photographs and lots of background information, including accommodation options. This glorious traverse of the Pyrenees, on the Spanish side, is a serious challenge - passing over a succession of high alpine passes where boulderfields, scree slopes and occasional snowfields may need to be crossed. Each of the 47 stages that are described are between 8 and 31 km long.

Published by Cicerone in April 2018, this is the 6th edition of this GR11 trail guidebook and has been thoroughly revised. To help with communication there is a short glossary of Aragon, Basque and Catalan words.
