This guidebook describes the GR221 long distance path in Mallorca, known as the Drystone Route, which traverses the Serra de Tramuntana Mountains. This famous route is 140km long, starts at Port d'Andratx in the southwest and finishes at Pollenca in the northwest, following ancient cobbled paths or old mule paths.

The guidebook breaks the route down into 10 stages, ranging from 8.5 to 20km long, and provides full route descriptions for each day along with colour maps at a scale 1:25,000. Also included are 3 alternative starting points and 3 alternative finishes that allow for a shorter walk, plus some optional detours to claim additional summits along the route. There is information about accommodation and services along the route, as well as public transport options.
