Tuolumne Free Climbs guidebook describes over 275 of the best routes in Tuolumne Meadows, from 14-pitch traditional climbs to one-pitch sport routes, in the 5.6-5.10a grade range. Tuolumne Meadows is an alpine rock climbing paradise, with giant golden domes, pine trees, and lakes. The granite climbing at Tuolumne features sharp, angular cracks, endless fields of knobs, golden glacier polish with in cut edges, and knobby cracks that take almost any nut at almost any point. Unlike the near-urban atmosphere of Yosemite Valley, Tuolumne is blissfully void of traffic, haze, and crowds.

As in all SuperTopo books the authors Greg Barnes, Chris McNamara, Steve Roper and Todd Snyder, have personally climbed and documented each climb with meticulous care to create the most detailed and accurate topos ever published for Tuolumne Meadows. Also included are some formerly obscure routes to provide more options for avoiding crowds at the peak times. All routes are shown on detailed topos, along with route descriptions, approach and decent information.
