This Cicerone walking Guidebook covers 60 circular day walks in Derbyshire and the Peak District, ranging from 4km to 10km long. Each of the 60 circular walks are described in detail, and illustrated with OS map extracts.

The walks are located near Derby, Matlock, Glossop, Bakewell and Ripley, and include the valleys of the Derwent River, Wye River and Trent River. The walks focus on places of interest, from Stone Age forts to castles and grand estates. Historic sites including Hardwick Hall, Kedleston Hall, Eyam, Chatsworth House (the fictional Pemberley), Bronze and Iron Age forts, medieval castles, and ruined Abbeys.
